Our Facebook group has just under 20,000 members but is the most active of FB groups . Here we have daily themes and a whole lot of members participate actively by posting their home-cooked food -all made by themselves and photos clicked by themselves too . Presenting to you a series of recipes by our enthusiastic members !!
First & foremost presenting a traditional Kholmbe pitti/Sambar powder recipe by our most respected member who is author of a recipe book herself – Asha Satish Philar. Her book – The Konkani Saraswat Cookbook is a hugely popular one.

Meet Chitra Kamath who is living abroad still is very much attached to her roots and loves cooking amchi even though she can cook so many other cuisines too.
We have a great couple in our group who are proficient in cooking both the Kerala and Mangalore cuisines of the GSB community – Vijayananda Shenoy and his wife – Jayashri Shenoy. Both are fantastic cooks!
Meet Priya R Shenoy whom we call Instant Priya . because the instant she sees a new recipe she would have instantly tried it out & all this in spite of having 2 young kids !a great cook !!
Now meet the star of our group – Jayashri Baleri whom we call the Desert Queen because of all the drool worthy desserts she makes . she is equally good at amchi cooking. Try her recipes too.
A great chef is our Shobana Rao who makes so many varieties of delicious foods, learn her recipes !
Meet Archana Shenoy -an enthusiastic mother of two young kids with a passion for photography. She combines her cooking skills with this to produce some fantastic pictures . be bowled over by her pics.
Meet Archana Kamat a sweet natured member who encourages one & all. She too has given some yum recipes.
The newest member in our group is Maya Rupesh who with her enthusiasm has won all our hearts ..find her delicious recipes.

Truly inspired by all the posts Sandhya Puranik is now a most consistent member posting the most delicious foods which all members want to try out ..You too will do that!
Next I would like you all to meet Aparna Bhat, whom we call the perfectionist because of her picture prefect frames & who whips up some delicious foods in spite of a busy career & 2 young kids !
