This dosa is prepared with the watermelon rind (white part) which we normally discard.This has a very soft texture which is easy for the kids and the old people to eat.
- 2 cups White Rice
- 1/2 cup Grated Coconut.
- 1/4 cup Beaten Rice
- 1 cup White portion of the watermelon.
- Soak rice for 2-3 hrs and grind along with the above mentioned ingredients to a fine paste without using water.
- Add salt and ferment the batter overnight.The batter should be thick.
- Prepare dosa with lid and cook one side only.
You can use the juice of the watermelon which is spilled while cutting the fruit. I have used red part too,to enchance the color and taste of the dosa.
