Talasani is a simple stir fry with lots of garlic seasoning.It is used as a side dish and cooked with bit more oil than what we usually use for other stir fries…. so lets start with the recipe
Ingredients:-
- 1/4 kg of fresh tender beans
- 10-12 cloves of garlic
- 2 red chillies broken
- Oil as required
- Salt to taste
- Jaggery pinch (optional).
Method:-
Chop the beans length wise diagonally as shown in the pic below–

- Heat oil in a pan( a bit more than you use normally) and add crushed garlics.. fry and then add the red chillies and fry again.
- Add the chopped beans and stir for a while ..add salt and close the lid,(avoid adding water as much as possible.)
- When it is half done add jaggery (optional) and cook till it is done but crunchy.
The simple and quick beans talasani is ready to be relished with your meals .
