Bimbuls – the cute tangy fruits are almost an inevitable part of GSB cuisine. We can always find a tree in almost all amchi backyards. We can add them in all curries replacing tamarind which bring their own lovely taste. Today am introducing a very simple recipe with bimbuls called as gojju in konkani.It can be served as a superb tangy and spicy side dish with rice. I learnt it from my grandmom.

Ingredients:-
- Bimbuls – 5
- Onion – 1 medium sized
- Green chillies – 5 to 7
- Fried red chillies – 2
- Coconut oil – 2 tsp
Method:-
- Cook the bimbul adding water till they turn soft.
- Chop the onion and green chillies finely.
- Crush them slightly .
- Now smash the bimbuls and mix it with the crushed onion and green chillies.
- Add finely chopped red chillies too.
- Mix all.
- Pour coconut oil on top.
- The very simple yet tasty ,lip smacking gojju is ready.
