Gantiye Butthi.

                 Gantiye Butthi is an absolutely a rainy season delicacy of amchi Kodiyal.  This dish is so lip smacking one that nobody fail to do this in the season.
Ingredients:-
  1. Tender Terya  Panna Ganti.. -30.(tender taro leaves knots).
  2. Jack fruit seeds  -.6  Peeled washed and crushed.
  3. Coconut Gratings…….1 Cup.
  4. Roasted Red Chillies…… 8 (ramnad)
  5. Tamarind………Gooseberry size (or ambado..2)
  6. Coriander Seeds……….1 tsp
  7. Garlic Cloves………8 (crushed)
  8. Coconut oil………2  tsp.
  9. Salt to taste
Method:-
Wash and clean “Terya Pan”……roll it round and tie it to make “ganti” 
  • Pressure cook ganti and jack fruit seeds.
  • Grind cocunut gratings, red Chillies, tamarind and coriander seeds (raw) with little water.
  • Add this ground masala to the cooked ganti and jack fruit seeds. Mix well.
  • Add water if necessary and note that the consistency of the dish is thick.
  • Add salt and crushed garlic cloves, mix well.
  • Bring it to  a boil.
  • Switch off the gas…..Now add raw fresh coconut oil……….Mix well                    
                 Gantiye Butthi is ready to serve with hot rice.
Note:-
Jack fruit seed is optional.
